Meet Lola Camilla Partain! Lola was the First Daughter of Lula Mae! Born in Corpus Christi in 1904, Lola lived a short but full life. She had two beautiful daughters, Charlene Vivian (My Grandmother) ,and Mazie Camille! Lola passed away on February 14th 1938. Lula Mae raised both her grand daughters from that day on. Lula Mae had already raised 5 children of her own...but was up for the task. She did not have a lot to provide them with financially, but she provided them with love and wit that I still here to this day! "Stand up Straight, Chin up, and BE PROUD" Is what she would say when they were "fixin' to go to town".
